The purpose of the IDEA pledge is to create a fund to uphold, champion, and celebrate the core values of inclusion, diversity, equity, and access in clinical care, research, engineering, and industry — the core domains of the American Auditory Society’s mission. We define these ideas as:

Inclusion — build a culture of belonging by actively inviting the contribution and participation of all involved with AAS.
Diversity — ensure the representation of all our varied identities and differences of race, ethnicity, gender, disability, sexual orientation, gender identity, national origin, tribe, caste, socio-economic status, thinking and communication styles.
Equity — assure unbiased treatment and equality of opportunity of all involved with AAS.
Access — guarantee fairness in access to activities, information, and resources of the AAS to all involved.

Complete our pledge form to notify AAS of your intent to contribute to the IDEA Fund.
